Welcome to The Safari App, a discipleship and community platform operated by Christ Is The Answer Ministries (C.I.T.A.M) (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Safari App, related websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. These Terms also incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation or ministry, you confirm you have authority
to bind that entity to these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where updates are made, the “Last updated” date will change, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Safari App exists to support Christian discipleship, spiritual growth, learning, fellowship, and ministry coordination
consistent with the biblical mission and values of C.I.T.A.M. The community is intended to be Christ-honouring, respectful, and aligned with Christian conduct.
The Services are not intended to replace local church leadership, pastoral care, professional counselling, or medical, legal, or financial advice. You are encouraged to seek appropriate support when needed and to exercise wisdom and discernment.
You must be at least 16 years old (or older where required by law) to create an account, unless your participation is supervised by a parent or guardian. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
You are responsible for any use of your account and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised access or security incidents. We may require additional verification or impose reasonable restrictions to protect the community and platform integrity.
You agree to engage in a manner consistent with Christian love, respect, humility, truth, and applicable law. You must not harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others. You must not post unlawful, obscene, misleading, or harmful content.
We may take action (including moderation, restriction, suspension, or termination) to protect the community, enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, or uphold safeguarding requirements.
The Services may allow you to submit content including posts, messages, reflections, testimonies, or prayer requests (“User Content”).
You remain responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
User Content represents the views of the individual user and does not necessarily reflect the views of C.I.T.A.M. We are not responsible for decisions made based on User Content. We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to moderate, remove, restrict, or preserve User Content where necessary for safety, integrity, compliance, or community well-being.
Content provided through the Services is intended for spiritual growth and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions and actions taken based on content accessed through the Services.
Where the Services include course content or learning materials, outcomes may vary depending on participation, context, and personal circumstances.
We do not guarantee any specific spiritual, educational, or practical outcomes.
Where giving, payments, or subscriptions are enabled, transactions may be processed by third-party providers. C.I.T.A.M does not store full payment card details and relies on payment providers for secure processing. Transaction details, any access rights, and any applicable refund rules will be disclosed at the point of payment where applicable.
You are responsible for ensuring payment information is accurate and authorised. We may restrict access to paid features where payments fail, are reversed, or are reasonably suspected to be fraudulent or unauthorised.
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to data processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

All content provided by C.I.T.A.M through the Services (excluding User Content), including course materials, text, graphics, logos, and audio/video content, is owned by or licensed to C.I.T.A.M and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit C.I.T.A.M content without prior written permission.
The Services may include links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third parties.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Services (with or without notice) if these Terms are violated, required by law, safeguarding obligations apply, or it is necessary to protect the community or platform integrity. We may also take reasonable steps to prevent repeat abuse.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.
C.I.T.A.M is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law, including any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless C.I.T.A.M, its leaders, staff, volunteers, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without prejudice to mandatory rights applicable in other jurisdictions.
